Went to look a car and were pleasingly surprised by the salesperson (James) who didn't hound us. What ever we needed he did. There was a car at another car lot we preferred but James was refreshing in his sales that we choose to deal with you guys. Victoria was awesome after the sale and have told all our friends that if you want a car go to these guys.
Great car at a good price, James was very helpful, not pushy and knowledgeable. 4 stars not 5 because we had to call back a couple of times to sort a matter out after purchase. Worth the extra effort though 👍 …
Extremely disappointed with the service and advised delivered by jeep city Adelaide.
a few weeks back we ran into an issue with the transmission in our 2012 Jeep grand Cherokee, first off the lady at the service desk is telling us it’s going to cost 30grand before they even looked at it, (should maybe train your staff to not give out unqualified opinions they Cleary have no idea what there talking about)
followed up by a diagnoses witch cost us $390 they come back with a quote of 11 grand to fit a second hand transmission, (total transmission failure) the car isn’t worth that so we were left with no other option but to get it towed back to Victoria (costing us another $1700) for all this I sat back and did some research after returning home and come to the conclusion that all it could possibly be was a stuffed battery, I first explained to multiple people at the service desk and the technician on the phone that I was sure it was an electrical fault because of the symptoms we faced, after hooking in a new battery and refilling the transmission with oil and a filter the car drives perfectly as it should.
To say I’m extremely disappointed, unsatisfied and angry with this service is an understatement. Definitely would not recommend getting any work done here.
Would love to hear back from jeep for a refund of the false diagnosis and compensation for the costs to have the car towed.
Attentive service and follow-up. Good relationship between service dept and sales ensured trade-in process was fair and quickly resulted in new vehicle to drive away. Love my new car.
Big thanks to Jaye in the sales team.
He was approachable, committed and motivated to work with us. From introduction to completion his customer service was appreciated and exceeded our expectations .
Thanks again.
James was a pleasure to deal with. Answered our many questions patiently. We appreciated the time he took to go through a handover with us. All other staff were welcoming. I must say it might well be the first car yard I’ve walked into and didn’t feel pressured or pressed. No pushing to buy this and buy that even after we purchased. Highly recommend.
Kaye is a superstar. Always pleasant to deal with and goes over and beyond what is required. She is calm, honest, and her attention to detail when explaining the service required is right up there among any service advisors. Given the changes in the service team (I have had the pleasure of experiencing several oops moments from those who are no longer there), she is the one shining light that makes the service calls a better experience.
Such a shame to be leaving this but I’ve had a very subpar experience so far. We have always had new Mazdas and the customer service is absolutely outstanding. From the purchase to the servicing, they are great, kind, accommodating. I bought my jeep compass as a demo model for 47k. It had an advertised 4500 ks on it but when I drove it away it actually had 6800 ks on it. Annoying since it needs to have under 5000 to be insuranced as new, the recommendation of the sales person was to lie to my insurer. He said the extra 2500 ks were done after listing the car (which was apparently 6 months earlier) weird. Since when I found the listing it was 3 weeks old.
ANYWAY, I accepted that, but after I did my very first wash 1 month later, I literally noticed in front of my eyes the paint peel away from the only plastic bit that’s on the bumper of the car. I contacted jeep, they said it was weird. Whatever - it’s a paint fault, I’m not happy about it but just get it fixed, that’s what warranty is for. Brought it in to be assessed, the guys weren’t exactly nice and barely acknowledged me at all, yeah no worries for the inconvenience guys 👍🏼 they booked it in 3 days later to be fixed, but then called the day before to cancel because the paint guy wasn’t available for 2 weeks. No worries I said, book it in for December, pls make sure a loan car is available as I will be flat out with work this close to Xmas so I’ll have to drop off them come back later. But no, apparently they can’t guarantee a loan car be available… what is that?! You’re a car dealership….. you just sold me a demo - how can you not have a loan car available with 2 weeks notice. The guy then got argumentative with me which is kind of insane to me, like pull your head in, if your calling a customer to change the booked date to have something fixed that isn’t their fault maybe a bit of accommodating would be appreciated. And quite frankly giving a loan car is barely accommodating. When I was 17 and drive a Hyundai they gave a loan car every time I went in for a service. You claim to be selling quality luxury cars; so act like it! I really hope they shape up, that this isn’t the experience for the next however long because I’d rather sell it and go buy another Mazda. I’m not up for being inconvenienced or the attitude that comes along with it. It’s your job, irs my life. So act professionally. My car is booked in for 2 weeks time, I hope I’ll be back to change this rating to a 5. But I do hope they take a look at other dealerships that are offering premium experienced to their customers which is why people come back time and time again. I’m guessing these guys don’t have many return customers.
